This plant can get huge up to 12 feet(4m), but smaller when containerised. Its large cordate or heart-shaped green leaves defines the term architectural and is amazingly tough for a tropical plant. It likes plenty of water and food when active, but it needs to be dry in winter to prevent rot. This is the first year I am growing it and was suprised to see its phenomenal growth rate in relative shade. One major problem was red spider mite, which attacked it with a vengence.
