Nerine flowers in August to September with beautiful flower stalk of delicately curved trumpet like flowers. Each flower stalk carries several flower buds, which opens one after the other like the Amaryllis flowers. They are small reaching a height of about 12 inches(30cm). This bulb dies down in winter and regrows in the spring. It needs well drained soil. It is best planted in groups in a sunny position.
