The curling leaves of this plant shows that the conditions during growth is too cold. The flower bud develops around late november and continues to develop slowly until the spring. The seeds are also beautiful, like a truly black face with vivid orange hair. The plant leaves and flowers can easily reach four feet. The thick fleshy roots gradually gets deeperin the pot until the whole plant is potbound and pushing out of the pot. It seem to tolerate being pot bound well.
