This Scabiosa reminds me of the shoo fly flower. The colours are almost identical, but the flower is more intricate and lovely. The plant flowers until the autumn. They are great if you are looking for a wild flower look or a fresh cottage garden feel. They are good for cut flowers and if they are reguarly deadheaded they flower more reguarly and for longer. I find that they are not easy to overwinter. I may be allowing them to be too wet.
