This is a very pretty primula, easily grown in ordinary garden soil as well as here in the pond. It is a valuable addition to the garden as it blooms later than most primulas. This Primula reminds me of the Primula candelabra which is a biennial. This ia a perennial and returns to flower every spring. It likes partial shade to full sun and is a woodland species. I think the flowers and leaves are wonderful.
