This is another plant from South Africa. It is not fully hardy as the soft stems are damaged by frost and the plant may die. It resprouts from old wood easily and this one has been in the present position for some years. I prune it hard in the spring to keep it to a reasonable size and every year it gives me a mass of flowers. In my garden it would easily reach 6 feet(2Mtrs) if I let it. It is best to overwinter cuttings if you live in colder climate.
