This plant is very spectacular when in flower. It has flowers which looks like a Pelicans beak hence the name. The fine feathery leaves also looks good. It makes agood basket or pot plant and trails down to cover the pot or basket. After growing for a period it flowers in mass with red yellow or yellow flowers. It is not fully hardy, bur can survive to the next year if protected. It can easily be treated as an annual, but it needs to be planted early as it may not flower before the frost kills it.
