These Bluebells are hardy and self seeds themselves readily. They prefer sandy soil and always produces a great display in spring. One thing I do not like is that it has a long growing season and does not die down until June to July. They are bolder than the English Bluebell and will crossbreed and overtake the English variety which has a shorter growing season and is a much more delicate flower. Never the less it is a beautiful flower in mass and reminds me of Hycinths.
