This Fuchsia is outside and doing well in a chimney pot on a south facing wall. The dark bronze-green leaves and long tubular flowers are unusual. I originally thought it was very tender, but it has proved to be quite hardy, but all the upper part dies down in winter and the roots does not start to regenerate until June. I was about to dig it up in June and throw it away when I saw it producing new shoots that was about to break the soil surface. In a sunnier spot it may regenerate earlier as long as the rootstock is protected from frost like Dahlias.
