The wildlife in the garden is quite varied, from robins to frogs. I am not keen on frogs or toads, but they keep the slugs and snail population under control. The pond allows masses of frogs and toad spawn to hatch and in this garden it is mainly frogs and a few toads. I have only recently been able to catch them by hand, when they are in unwanted places, and release them. Here one is caught in the petioles of the marsh marigold at the edge of the pond.
