This is a clump forming succulent plant from South Africa. It is easy to grow and propagate from offsets. It is said to tolerate temperatures just below zero Centigrade, but as this is a new plant to my collection I am not sure. It is said not to like low temperatures, but if kept dry will cope well. It requires light shade and will send up flower spikes in spring or summer. Bees are said to love the flowers, but mine is grown indoors. After growing for some time some leaves can get a brown colouration at the tips like most clump forming succulent plants.
