I bought this Orchid without knowing what it was. It had finished flowering in the shop. It was very cheep as Orchids go, but it was worth the wait to see these magnificent flowers. Knowing about the mechanisms of its pollination only fills me with more wonder. I still do not know the specific Cattleya so if anyone knows please let me know. In the background you can see the seed-head of the Dragon Lily (Dracunculus vulgaris).
