Phalonopsis orchids are one of the easiest of the orchids to grow. They can be expensive to buy, but the flowers lasts for up to four months. I grow three in pots tied into the leaves of the Hoya in the north facing cool conservatory. In the winter I take them inside to the south facing front window where they flower again the following year and are replaced in the Hoya. Theit dark, thick leaves blend in well with those of the Hoya.
